Abstract

This article discusses the meaning and implementation of social justice as reflected in the fifth precept of Pancasila, namely "Social Justice for All Indonesian People". The focus of this study is to outline how the values of social justice in the philosophy of Pancasila can be used as a foundation to ensure a just and prosperous life for all citizens. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and normative-philosophical analysis, this article explores the moral, legal, and social dimensions of the fifth precept, as well as its implications for public policy and the structure of social life. The results of the study show that the fifth precept contains the principles of equality, protection of basic rights, proportionate distribution of resources, and the elimination of structural discrimination. By strengthening the role of the state in ensuring public welfare and ensuring equal access to public services, the value of social justice Pancasila becomes a guideline in forming an inclusive and civilized system. This article recommends the need for a reinterpretation of the value of justice in the context of national development and legal modernization, in order to be in line with the spirit of Pancasila that is adaptive and responsive to the challenges of the times.
