Penguatan Nilai-Nilai Akhlak Jamaah Masjid Barokatul Qodiri melalui Kajian Kitab Nashoihul ‘Ibad di Perumahan Harmony Residence Balaraja Tangerang Banten

Abstrak

Modern society is often characterized by moral challenges, such as a decline in social concern and a weakening of communal bonds (ukhuwah). Strengthening moral character (akhlak) is therefore one of the essential means of maintaining social harmony. This community service activity aimed to instill Islamic moral values among the congregation of Masjid Barokatul Qodiri through the study of the classical text Nashoihul ‘Ibad. The implementation method employed a traditional bandongan scheme combined with face-to-face discussions and question–answer sessions. The program yielded several important findings. First, congregants' participation in the study sessions increased significantly, indicating strong enthusiasm for deepening religious understanding, particularly regarding moral values. Second, the congregants’ comprehension of Islamic moral concepts improved substantially, as reflected in their growing awareness of how to apply values such as honesty, patience, and social empathy in daily life. Third, the activity positively impacted social relations among residents, as evidenced by a more harmonious atmosphere and stronger communal bonds within the residential environment. These findings confirm that the study of classical Islamic texts remains relevant and effective as a medium for moral development amid contemporary societal challenges.
